Shipping & Delivery Policy – OilShack.ph

At OilShack.ph, we prioritize the safe and prompt delivery of all automotive lubricants, engine oils, and chemical products. Because engine oils and heavy fluids require specialized handling and secure packaging to prevent leaks during transit, we enforce strict shipping protocols across all our carrier partners.

1. Serviceable Areas

We deliver nationwide across the Philippines:

  • Metro Manila & Greater Manila Area (Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan)

  • Rest of Luzon

  • Visayas & Mindanao

2. Delivery Options & Estimated Timelines

Order processing takes 1 business day (Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays and official Philippine public holidays).

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary slightly during severe weather conditions (typhoons), natural disasters, or major nationwide sale events.

3. Shipping Rates & Calculation

  • Weight & Volume Based: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the total actual weight or volumetric weight (dimensions) of your order, whichever is higher.

  • Same-Day On-Demand Courier: Express delivery fees (Lalamove/Grab) are calculated in real-time based on delivery distance from our warehouse hub in Parañaque City. Any toll fees or parking charges incurred during express delivery will be billed to the customer.

  • Promotional Shipping: Look out for free shipping vouchers or threshold offers (e.g., Free Metro Manila shipping on orders above ₱3,500) displayed on our homepage.

4. Liquid Packaging & Safety Guarantee

Engine oils and automotive chemicals are classified as sensitive liquids by local couriers. To ensure your order arrives in pristine condition:

  • Double-Sealed Protection: Bottle caps are individually secured with heavy-duty tape/shrink wrap.

  • Impact Cushioning: Products are wrapped in multi-layer industrial bubble wrap and packed into double-wall corrugated cardboard boxes.

  • Fragile & Upright Labeling: Packages are prominently tagged with "Fragile" and "This Side Up / Liquid Cargo" stickers for courier guidance.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Rules

  • COD Availability: Cash on Delivery is available nationwide via J&T Express and Flash Express for orders up to ₱10,000.

  • Order Verification: First-time COD buyers or high-value COD orders may receive a quick verification SMS/Viber message from our team before dispatch.

  • Refused Deliveries: Customers who refuse COD deliveries without valid cause (e.g., unboxing damage or wrong item) may have their COD privilege suspended for future purchases on OilShack.ph.

6. Order Tracking & Delivery Attempts

  • Tracking Number: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an SMS and Email notification containing your waybill/tracking number and tracking link.

  • Delivery Attempts: Standard couriers will attempt delivery up to 2 times. Please ensure someone is present at your provided address to receive the package and pay the COD amount (if applicable).

  • Unclaimed Packages: If a parcel is returned to sender (RTS) due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect address details, re-shipping costs will be charged to the buyer.

7. Damaged or Leaking Shipments upon Arrival

In the rare event that your package shows signs of severe external damage or oil leakage upon arrival:

  1. Take Photos/Videos: Do not throw away the outer packaging or waybill. Capture an unboxing video or clear pictures immediately.

  2. Contact Us Immediately: Report the issue within 48 hours to contact@oilshack.ph or via our Return Request Form.

  3. Free Replacement: Once verified, we will arrange a complimentary replacement pickup and delivery at zero cost to you.
